40 X 48 Wood Pallets

You need to send goods to a warehouse in the EU for static storage. You need the EPAL size. But you do not need EPAL certification. You also do not need the 144mm tall blocks because your goods are not going on high racks. This European Standard Pallet for Storage is made for that need. Its size is 1200mm by 800mm. This is exactly the same as the EPAL standard. But we lower the block height to 100mm. The center of gravity is lower. The stack is more stable. We also use smaller stringers. The cost is 15%-20% lower than a transport version Euro pallet. 40 x 48 wood pallets give you the right size at a better price.

What are the good points of 40 x 48 wood pallets? First, they have the EPAL size. 1200×800mm fits European standard racks and cage pallets perfectly. Second, the center of gravity is lower. The 100mm block height is 44mm lower than the transport version. You can stack them 4 layers high. They will stay stable. Third, they are export ready. We can add IPPC stamps for fumigation. Or we can use fumigation free wood. EU customs will clear them with no problem. Fourth, the cost is lower. We use 15%-20% less wood than the transport version. So, the unit price is lower.
